Paris in April

I cannot believe that in 6 days I will be on a jet-plane to France, with my mother, to see cherished friends and a beloved country. I have been up-to-date on the latest weather conditions- sounds like it will still be brisk and cool. We have Price-Lined our hotel for 3 days- mainly for comfort and not so much for location. And of course the rest of our stay we will be provided for by my dear friends. My good friend Isabelle will be picking us up from the airport with a friend, then we are on our own for 3 days. My host-mother's brother, Jean-Paul Stenac will be looking for us Thursday @ 9:30 am- taking us to the country-side. There we will have 4 days of rest, relaxation and fun!

As for the preparations, I have selected 2 pieces of luggage and surprisingly can fit most of my wardrobe in the suitcase. The smaller bag will contain gifts, snacks, and cosmetics. I thought about buying new shoes- but think I should stay with my well-worn New Balance shoes.

Just need to get our gifts together and we're good!
